With the digitalization of the water conservancy industry,the value of data assets is increasingly prominent.BIM and GIS data represent crucial outcomes of engineering digitization and serve as valuable 3D digital assets.Taking Zhuxi reservoir as a case,this article focuses on optimizing the production methods of BIM and GIS data.It introduces an approach that combines Civil 3D,Revit,and Dynamo software for dam parametric modeling,thereby automating repetitive modeling work and improving the effi ciency and quality of BIM modeling for reservoirstructures. By using airborne LiDAR to collect the terrain of the reservoir area and efficiently processing it withprofessional software,ground point clouds and high-resolution digital elevation models are obtained. Then,relyingon BIM+GIS technology,the study further involves data light-weighting,coordinate registration,and renderingpublishing to construct a precise mapping of physical project data and visualization scenarios,thus forming 3D digitalassets. On this basis,application scenarios are expanded and studied with point cloud review calculation,BIM+VRguidance for construction,and visualization of equipment operating conditions,which has signifi cant reference valuefor the research and implementation of reservoir digital assets.
