Currently,the geological disaster inspection and investigation of hydropower stations is mainly manual, leading to problems such as low inspection effi ciency,low accuracy and high risk. Digitalization,intelligence and precision are urgent needs to improve the effi ciency of geological disaster inspection. In this paper,an intelligent inspection mode of geological disaster is proposed,and a digital twin system framework of geological disaster inspection is developed. UAV and 5G technology are applied as inspection tools and transmission channels. With digital twin technology,a virtual hydropower station environment is created with functions of real-time dynamic planning of inspection path,intelligent identifi cation of potential problems,as well as prediction and early warning. The virtual inspection of indoor geological disaster from the perspective of UAV is realized. The application mode is put forward from the aspects of intelligent inspection planning,real-time information acquisition,dynamic change analysis and remote monitoring consultation,which can eff ectively solve the disadvantages of long distance and poor accessibility of real scene. Finally,taking Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station as a study case,a digital twin system for geological disaster inspection based on “5G + UAV” is established,which effectively solves the problem of rare geological disaster investigation in Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station and improves the intelligence of inspection.
