Abstract:In order to realize effective management and control of the entire water supply process and ensure water health, smart water platform based on whole life cycle management and control of water supply is proposed. By applying new technology and Internet thinking, it is expected to promote modernization of water management and improve public service and management of water industry. The platform makes full use of new technologies such as Internet of Things, big data, and mobile Internet to collect all kinds of key data in production, conveyance and distribution, operation, and management for multi-source information processing, storage, and analysis. It aims to realize intelligent whole life cycle management and control of water supply for various businesses including water source supervision, production management, pipeline network monitoring, revenue management, rivers and lakes management, and smart applications. The platform improves daily operation efficiency of water companies and their public service capabilities. It also effectively reduces pipe burst and leakage of water supply network, and enhances multi-source data integration and sharing, as well as smart applications in the whole process of water supply.
