Abstract:In this paper, the calculation method of three-dimensional turbulence is firstly described. For the water flow characteristics of the water supply project inlet, it calculates the 3D water flow using a standard k-ε model, uses the VOF method to treat the free surface, uses the fifinite volume method to discretize the calculation area, and adopts the solid-wall boundary condition without slip to simulate the complex flflow state of the inlet water flflow. And the numerical simulation results are compared with the experimental data in detail, it verififies the reliability of the mathematical model and has great reference value in the design research of water inlet engineering.
